A graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Troy, N. Y.
Shortly after the turn of the century he formed a partnership with J. Langdon Schroeder, and for the firm supervised the erection of the Y.M.C.A. Building on West 57th Street, New York, in which were placed the longest steel trusses to be used at that time. During later years Schroeder & Parish designed a number of educational buildings, including the Household Arts and Thompson Building at Barnard College, New York, 1900, and Guyot Hall at Princeton University, New Jersey . Retiring from practice during the mid 'thirties, Mr. Parish spent his remaining years at his home at Gladstone, New Jersey.
