Career
He was a student of Edward L. Thorndike and taught Louis Leon Thurstone. In 1915, Bingham founded the first university department of Applied Psychology at Carnegie Institute of Technology. In 1917, he helped Robert Yerkes to develop the Army Alpha and Beta tests.
