Formerly of Chicago where he practiced until 1913. A few years later he went to Australia to work in association with the firm of Beauchamp & Clark of Sydney in charge of work on the new Capitol building at Canberra. Mr. Griffin also prepared a plan of the city, and remained with the firm until 1930 when he established his own office in Sydney. From 1913 until the time of his death, which occured while traveling in India.
