Squires, Walter Albion was born on December 26, 1874 in Cloud County, Kansas, United States. Son of Albion Caleb and Sarah-Isabel (McDonald) Squires.


Kansas State Normal School, 1898-1901. Northwestern University, 1903-1904. Graduate San Francisco Theological Seminary, 1910.

Bachelor of Arts, Albany (Oregon) College, 1909. Post-graduate work San Francisco Theological Seminary, Hartford School Religious Pedagogy, Boston University. Doctor of Divinity, Buena Vista College, Storm Lake, Iowa, 1928.
