Wan Chen, Chinese Astrophysicist. Achievements include research in the complete theory of non-thermal radiation from the chaotic winds of massive stars, the distribution ofradioactive aluminum-26 in the Milky Way, x-ray nova outburst mechanisms and black hole mass determination using gamma-ray lines; co-discovered the cause of the local bubble as a supernova exploded 300,000 years ago near the sun.
