In charge of work in Ohio Valley, Utah, Colorado, and N. Mexico for Chicago World Fair. Made valuable finds in altar mounds of Scioto Valley. Explorations in N.E. 111., Texas, Georgia Director, Museum, Ohio State University and History Society, 98.

Director, Department of Archaeology, Phillips Academy, Massachusetts. Member Federation Board of Indian Commissioners, 1901 to present.
