She graduated from Goldsmith"s College, London.
Career
She started broadcasting on Broadland 102FM radio station in Norwich. Hurrell then moved to Anglia Television in 2003 as a production journalist. She moved to the weather team in 2004 to cover for Sara Thornton"s maternity leave.
In 2007 she presented the Anglia programme Bygones with Eddie Anderson.
In September 2008 she moved to London to join the British Broadcasting Corporation, where she now presents the regional weather forecast on British Broadcasting Corporation Breakfast and British Broadcasting Corporation London News. She also announces the weather forecast on British Broadcasting Corporation London 94.9.
