Withdrew from Methodist Episcopal Church because of change of theological views and joined Unitarian Church. Established 1st Unitarian Church, Albany (pastor, 1895-1905). Pastor Unity Church, Brooklyn, 1905-1918, pastor emeritus, 1918.
