In conjunction with the late Colonel Farquharson of Invercauld, and the late Mr. Augustus Savile of Rufford Abbey, established the Bachelors’ Club in 1881, of which club he is Chairman and one of the Trustees, His Royal Highness the late Duke of Albany was the first President of the Club.
