While studying pharmacy became editor official, Danish Scout magazine (and started to write boy's fiction) journalist, assistant editor, Ferslew Newspapers, Copenhagen, 1924; correspondent on tour of Europe and American, 1926; member of national staff, Boy Scouts American, 1926-1965; assistant to director publications, Boy Scouts American, 1927-1944; managing editor, Scouting magazine, 1927-1931; feature writer, assistant editor, contributing editor, Boys' Life magazine, since 1932; national director, Scoutcraft, 1944-1954; assistant to director program, Scoutcraft, 1954-1956; national director program resources, Scoutcraft, 1956-1965. Attended 15 World Scout Jamborees, 1920-1991, all 12 National Jamborees, 1937-1989.
