Mr. Prichett was educated at the Rittenhouse Academy, and in 1880 graduated in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
He practiced in association with Adrian Smith until the latter's death in 1892, thereafter maintained an office under his own name, engaged in designing a number of business structures, a few churches and many private homes in the suburbs of Philadelphia and in or near Lancaster,Pa. Probably his best known works were the first publishing house of J.B. Lippencott, built c.1904; the John S. Winst’s Publishing House, c. 1912, and the Blockley Baptist Church, c.1906, all in Philadelphia. He also designed the Farmers & Mechanics Trust Co. Office Building at West Chester, and Gymnasium at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, 1924-25.
