Career
He served as Mayor of Nashville, Tennessee from 1922 to 1924. William Percy Sharpe was born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1871. In 1922, he was elected by the city council to replace Mayor Felix Zollicoffer Wilson, who was ousted.
He served until 1924.
Personal life
He died in Madison, Tennessee on November 13, 1942. He is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
