Career
Wyse ran for a seat to the Alberta Legislature in the 1971 Alberta general election. He ran as the Social Cr candidate in the new electoral district of Medicine Hat-Redcliff. Wyse and Horsman would face each other in the 1975 Alberta general election.
He race was very close with Horseman defeating Wyse by over 100 votes.
