Career

Began practice at Salt Lake City, 1897. Assistant attorney Salt Lake Company, 1901-1902. Became member Sutherland, Van Cott, Allison & Riter, 1906, Van Cott, Riter & Farnsworth, 1918.

Appointed assistant attorney general of the United States, April 5, 1921-January 15, 1924.

Resigned to resume private practice.
