KISBEY, William Henry King’s Counsel was born on September 3, 1828 in Dublin. 2nd son of R. Kisbey, and Marian, daughter of James Scott.
Studied at Trinity College Dublin. Bachelor of Arts 1864. Master of Arts 186S; Vice-Chancellor’s prizeman in English Verse, 1862 and 1863.
Was for several years editor of Belfast News-Letter.
Called to Irish Bar, 1866, and went the North - East Circuit. Queen's Counsel 1884. Queen's Advocate-General, 1885-1887.
Contested South Down, 1885.
County Court Judge, 1887 -1909. Late Chairman of Quarter Sessions, Counties Armagh and Louth.
