Attended Pennsylvania Academy to study sculpture, but gave up sculpture and went to England to study drawing with Walter Sickert, in London.
Has specialized in painting old towns in Europe. Exhibited in important shows in the United States and abroad. Represented in large museums and galleries in the United States, France and Spain, including Spanish Embassy in Paris, Southern Vermont Artists Association, Pennsylvania Academy Fine Arts, also in many private collections.
