Went to Martinique on United States South. Dixie, on 1st relief expd’n, as sp’l correspondent Publishers’ Press Association. Washington correspondent Army and Navy Journal of New York since 1900.

Also writes sp’l international and military articles for Baltimore Sun. Has written numerous articles for magazines on eruption of Mont Pelee in Martinique, and on Philippine affairs
