Was research chemist, Crawfordsville, Bonn and Berlin, beginning 1902.

Organic chemist (1907. And chief Synthetic Products Laboratory, Bureau Chemistry, Department Agriculture, since 1908.

Also charge special collaborative investigations of Food and Drug Administration, since 1929.
