Gilchrist, William Wallace was born in 1846 in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. Son of W. W. and R. A. Gilchrist.

Studied music under Prof.

Career

Conductor Philadelphia Festival Chorus, Mendelssohn Club, Philadelphia, Harrisburg Choral Society, Symphony Society and other ch. Organizer, and pres; president Musical Art Club. Composer: 46th Psalm (chorus and orchestra).
