Yagyu Kazuyoshi graduated from Tokyo University (1891).
Yagyu Kazuyoshi entered the service of Ministry of Finance and was appointed director of Yokohama Post and Telegraph Office. Resigned from government service to become director of the newly established Bank of Taiwan (Formosa), in which capacity he ably assisted Juichi Soeda, the president (1899). Two years later he was appointed president of the bank. Resigned (1916).
