Yasuzo Suzuki was born in 1904 in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
He graduated from Literature Department, Kyoto University in 1927 and later studied at its Economics Department.
An expert on political science and the Constitution, he became an editor of the House of Representatives' Parliamentary History Compilation Council. He recognized successor of Sakuzo Yoshino and Takeki Osatake, noted experts on the history of Meiji Era politics.
After World War II, he and Shozaburo Takano have been leaders of the Constitution Research Society.
Books include "Introduction to Political Science" and "Outline of the History of Japanese Constitution".
