He had a contract with Ukrainian side Football Club Zorya Luhansk. Demchenko is a product of Football Club Metalurh Zaporizhya youth team system. His first trainer was Mykola Syenovalov.
He made his debut for Metalurh Zaporizhya in the Ukrainian Premier League in a match against Football Club Hoverla Uzhhorod on 8 August 2015.
