The method enabled researchers to locate the prod projection centers in the brain. Also studied the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of several nervous diseases. Shed new light on the pathogenesis of choreic convulsions, narcolepsy and Tay-Sachs disease.
Drafted excellent classification of closed brain lesions. Proposed original hypothesis of the nature and pathogenesis of subarachnoid hemorrhage. Described so-called ulnar defect with lesion of the pyramidal fascicle.
1942-1945 reactivated and directed Leningrad Neuropathologists Social.
