Yorinori Matsudaira was born in 1830 in Japan.
During the Boshin-no-Eki in 1868, when the lords of Ou (northeast district) met at Shiraishi Castle (Miyagi Prefecture) and decided to band themselves against the Imperial Army, Yorinori Matsudaira alone remained loyal and stood firmly behind the Imperial Court. After the Meiji Restoration was completed he was appointed Iord of Moriyama Clan.
