In 1933, Yoshifumi Ueda graduated from Indian Philosophy Department of Tokyo University.
Career
Yoshifumi Ueda became professor of Ryiikoku University in 1945 and thereafter professor of Literature Department of Nagoya University (since 1949). The author of the book "Bukkyo Shisoshi Kenkyu" ("A Study of the History of Buddhist Ideas").
