Background

Miyako no Yoshika was born in 834. He was the son of Sadatsugu.

Career

Yoshika no Miyako was appointed Monjo-Hakase (official in charge of literary affairs). Was ordered by Emperor Yozei to participate in the compilation of Montoku Jitsuroku (History of the Reign of Emperor Montoku).
