He graduated from Tokyo University in 1934. He received degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1940.
After serving as professor at Okayama Medical college and Shinshii University he was appointed professor of Tokyo University in 1955. He was a head of the only physiotherapy department in Japan founded by Professor Kaichiro Manabe. Books included Hot-Spring Therapy. Also he had works on narcotic poisoning, hiropon poisoning and other types of chrome poisoning.
