Director Suncall Corporation, Kyoto, 1993-1999, executive technical advisor, 1999—2002, technical advisor, 2003. Representative Yamada Research and Consultant Office, since 2002.

Achievements

  • Achievements include 28 national patents and 8 international patents in field of light weight suspension springs and engine valve springs. Development of heat treatment free production methods of prestressed concrete wire/strands and cold heading wire for sparking plug shell. Development of direct cooling (by water) system for dry drawing of high strength wire.

    Development of high strength steel tire cord material, super clean valve spring steel, highest strength suspension bridge main cable wire for Akashi Kaikyo (Strait) Bridge. Development of high strength bolt with improved resistance to delayed fracture, others.
