Yoshiyuki Toyama graduated from Tokyo University (1920).
Career
Entered the Tokyo Industrial Research Institute and worked for about 20 years. During this period, received the doctorate degree. Appointed professor of Nagoya University (1940).
He was engaged in research of aquatic animal oil and made clear the nature and structure of fish and whale oil and other aquatic animal oils. In practical field, completed research of hardening oil, establishing the foundation for mar arine industry.
