Career
Yuichi Yuasa entered Yuasa Kanamonoten (Yuasa Hardware Store) Company and became its vice-president and then president. Appointed director (1932), senior managing director (1939), president (1945) and then chairman of Yuasa Chikudenchi Seizo Kaisha (Yuasa Storage Battery Manufacturing Company). When the company was renamed Yuasa Battery Company became its president (1953).
Held additional posts of chairman of Kyoto Municipal Public-Safety Commission, member of Shakai Hosho Shingikai (Social Security Council), managing director of Federation of Japan Employers, Associations, vice-chairman of Kansai Employers’ Association, manager of Kansai Keizai Doyukai (Kansai Economic Friends' Society) and vice-chairman of Kinki Subdivision of Japan I.L.O. Association.
