Career
Yuji Wada entered the service of Fukushima Prefecture and then became member of the Fisheries Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture nd Commerce, in which capacity he contributed much to the study of oceanography or which he was conferred a doctorate Sc.D. To study ocean currents he sealed messages in beer bottles, asking that the bottles be returned if found, and threw hem into the sea. His experiment was a success. The author of "Study of Japanese Sea Currents".
