Career
Yukio Tsuchiya was appointed an official in a ward office. Spurred and encouraged by his parents, masters of Haikai of Basho school, he continued writing and completed his first long fairy tale "The Sailing of A Rainbow". After this he turned professional writer. His works are most romantic and assert humanism as well as the good faith of people.
