Yuliya Petrovna led propaganda among workers and young people. She was a member of "The Union of Struggle for the Emancipation of the Working Class". In 1903 she joined the Mensheviks. In 1904-1905 Yuliya Petrovna was a member of the Voronezh Committee of the Russian Social-Democratic Labor Party. In 1905 she was arrested, in 1906 she fled to Finland, then to Sweden. From the 1910s she lived in France.
