Kambara Yumei graduated from Tokyo Prefectural Middle School.
Career
After graduating from Middle School, Yumei Kambara began composing poems and his reputation was established when his works were published in Myojo (poetry magazine). When poetry went out of fashion during the Taisho Era he left it and took to Buddhism.
