1 flight - 1 July to 4 November 1994 on the spacecraft "Soyuz TM-19" and "Mir" as the commander of the crew on EC-16 program. Started together with T. Mussabayev. During the flight, the first docking of Progress M-24 cargo transport vehicle with Mir orbital complex in tele-operative mode was carried out. In the course of the flight of Yuri I. Malenchenko performed two EVAs of the total duration of 11 hours, 07 minutes. He made a landing together with T. Mussabayev and W. Merbold (ESA). 4 flight– 10 October 2007 - 19 April 2008 as the commander of TPK "Union TMA - 11" and the flight engineer of ISS-16, along with astronaut Peggy Whitson. During the mission he performed one spacewalk lasting 6 hours and 55 minutes. The flight duration was 191 days. 19 hours. 07 min.
5 flight-July 15, 2012-November 19, 2012 as a member of the 32/33-th long expedition to the ISS as Soyuz TMA-05M TC commander and ISS flight engineer. During the flight he performed a spacewalk lasting 5 hours and 50 minutes. The flight duration was 126 days. 23 hours. 33 minutes and 27 seconds.
6 flight -December 15, 2015-June 18, 2016 as part of 46/47 long expedition to the ISS as Soyuz TMA-19M TPK commander and ISS flight engineer. During the work of the ISS-46/47 crew, many scientific experiments were conducted from different fields of science (medicine, space biology, biotechnology, physical and chemical processes, etc.), of which about 50 were performed by Yuri Malenchenko. During the flight, he worked one spacewalk, performing all the tasks for 4 hours 43 minutes. The crew carried out work with Russian ("Progress") and foreign cargo ships (Cygnus, Dragon), carried out repair and restoration works of onboard systems, their maintenance, performed onboard photo and video filming, and also prepared the Soyuz TMA-19M ship for return from orbit.
