Designer Automation Design Bureau, Riga, 1971-1973. From researcher, group manager to associate professor Riga Polytechnic Institute, 1976-1993. Professor Riga Technology University (formerly Riga Polytechnic Institute), since 1993, head institute, since 1994.

Member Medical Physics/Engineering European Network, since 1995.
