Yury Vasilievich Antonov

Background

Yury was born on the 9th of April in 1938, in Vygolka village, Chernavsky district, Oryol region, Russia.

Education

He graduated from the geophysical faculty of the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute in 1962.

Career

In 1962-1971 the senior geophysicist, the head of the geological prospecting party of the Southern geophysical expedition in Tajikistan. In 1971-1972 the senior geophysicist of the Voronezh geophysical expedition. Since 1972, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head (since 1993) of the Department of Geophysics, Voronezh State University.

Achievements
