In 1978, after graduating from the Voronezh State Academy of Arts, Yury Ovchinnikov became the actor of the Voronezh Young Spectators' Theatre. At the same time, he works at the creative center "Combination company" under the Voronezh Actor House. Since 1999, Yury Ovchinnikov has been participating in the telecast "Tales of a Speaking Cricket" (since 1999). He is also a participant of all-Russian and international theater festivals and laureate of the Voronezh Regional Theater Competition "Event of the Season" (2001, 2005).
