He graduated from Hokkaido University in 1921.
Career
Harada served as director of the Hokkaido Forestry Laboratory of the Imperial Forestry Bureau, appointed instructor of the Agricultural Department of the Hokkaido University. Elected (1950) to the Japan Science Council Chair- man of the North Forestry Association. Author of "Forestry and Environment," "Daisetsu Mountain National Park," and "Forestry Meteorology".
