He also plays for Israeli national basketball team He is also the brother-in-law of Danny Klein, the team"s Chairman at the time. In the 2005-2006 season, he played for Maccabi Rosh HaAiyn on Liga Leumit.
Between the 2005 and 2007, Naimy played in Maccabi Givat Shmuel.
During 2007-2008 he played for Ironi Ashkelon, for which he averaged 14.4 points in 27 games in 2007-2008. In 2008, he returned to Hapoel Jerusalem as team"s captain, as well as its playmaker.
The newspaper Haaretz described him as "one of the most talented players Jerusalem has seen in years". In June 2012, he signed a one-year contract with Triumph Lyubertsy.
On August 6, 2013, Naimy signed a three-year contract with the Israeli team Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Naimy has also played for the Israeli National Basketball Team, and in the summer of 2010, he led the National Team to EuroBasket 2011.
