Zbigniew Zapalowicz

Background

Zbigniew Zapalowicz was born on the 5th of August 1954 in Ostrow Mazowiecka, Poland; the son of Antoni Sylwester and Antonina Elzbieta (Hryniewicz) Zapalowicz.

Education

In 1979 Zbigniew graduated from the Szczecin University of Technology and received his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received a degree of Doctor of Philosophy from the Polish Academy of Sciences in 1989.

Career

From 1979 to 1981 Zbigniew Zapalowicz worked as a Design engineer at a Factory Building Machines-Hydroma in Szczecin. Also from 1981 to 1989 he held a position of the Assistant of a Heat Engineering Department at Szczecin Technology University and also a tutor in 1989-1994 at the same university. Since 1994 Zbigniew Zapalowicz works as the Head of thermal laboratory at Szczecin Technology University. He is a Contributor of articles to professional journals.
