Zhumakhan was born in 1891 in Ayginsky, now Ayaguzsky district of the Semipalatinsk region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was from the family of a nomad.

He graduated from the agricultural faculty of the Central Asian State University (Tashkent, 1930).
In the autumn of 1930, he was unreasonably repressed, exiled to the Central Chernozemnaya region. He worked as an agronomist in the city of Lgov (May 1932 - March 1934), senior agronomist in Voronezh City Consumer Union (until the end of 1934). Later he lived in Alma-Ata. Senior Researcher of the Research Institute of Livestock, Agronomist-Inspector in the trust "Kauchukonos". He was re-arrested (May 1937) and shot.
Zhumakhan was married to Tatyana Georgievna Kuderina-Nasonova.
