Zon No became a disciple of Zontei at age of 17 and made efforts to restore his Jedo Sect.
Career
Zon No was appointed 12th chief priest of Zojoji Temple (1584), and when Ieyasu Tokugawa occupied the Kanto District he became a close intimate of his. He founded 18 temples of the Jodo Sect, including Zojoji Temple and a study hall.
