He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb in 1990.
Career
From 1997 to 1999 Mršić was deputy mayor and from 2001 to 2012 mayor of Koprivnica. In 2012 Mršić was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Podravka.
Membership
He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia. He was a member of parliament from 22 December 2003 to 24 February 2012.
