Background

He is the son of Raman Singh, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

Career

He was elected to Lok Sabha in May 2014 as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. Abhishek Sngh was born on 5 March 1981 at Kawardha. He is the son of Raman Singh and Veena Singh.

He did his B.E from General Electric Company, Raipur.

He later completed his Master of Business Administration from XLRIXavier School of Management. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he defeated Kamleshwar Verma of Indian National Congress by a margin of 235,911 votes.

At the age of 33, he became the youngest Member of Parliament in Chhattisgarh"s history.

Achievements

• In 1999, his father had won from the same Rajnandgaon constituency by a margin of 26,715 votes.
