Career
In 1928, Ahmed El Harif Mamidi held the position of Minister of Finance and Budget in the Comoros, overseeing the Ministry of Financial and Budget Affairs. His role placed him at the center of governmental financial administration, where he was responsible for managing state revenues, expenditures, and budgetary planning during a period of significant political and economic change in the archipelago.
As Minister of Finance and Budget, Mamidi contributed to establishing greater structure and oversight in public finance, supporting the institutional development of the Comorian government under the shifting colonial and regional conditions of the early 20th century.
