Ko Tse-han graduated from the Hanyang Military Academy in 1912.
Mr. Ko started his military career as a corporal in the 16th Mixed Brigade. He served as a director of the salt transportation office in Tsangteh, Hunan. Then Ko Tse-han held the post of a director of provincial stamp tax bureau, Henan director of Peking Octroi. He also worked as a vice-Minister of Finance, director-general of the Salt Administration, counsellor to the Directorate-General for the North-western Frontier Defense. He was a director of the finance bureau of Chahar.
Ko Tse-han acted ad a director of industrial bureau of Chahar. He was a director of the Chahar reclamation office, president of the Northwestern Bank, financial director of the 2nd Kuominchun Army. Later he became a member of Shaanxi Provincial Government and concurrently Commissioner of Finance. Mr. Ko was a member of the Chahar Provincial Government and concurrently Commissioner of Civil Affairs.
