Education

He earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Gezira, Faculty of Medicine, Wad Medani, Sudan, in 2005.

Career

Al-Khatim began his academic career as a teaching assistant at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, where he worked from 1987 to February 10, 2004.

Following the completion of his doctoral degree in 2005, he continued at King Abdulaziz University as a teaching staff member from March 22, 2005 onward.

He later served as an assistant professor in environmental health and toxicology at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at the same institution, contributing to teaching and research in his field.
