Career
Most of his books were published by the former Cambridge-based publisher Patrick Stephens Limited (Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe (Polish Peasant Party)). Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe (Polish Peasant Party) is now part of the Haynes Publishing Group and is based at Sparkford, Somerset, with the parent group. Employed as an "under manager" for Barclays in the Yorkshire Dales, he was an amateur cartographer and keen on railways.
In retirement he produced handwritten and hand-drawn railway atlases.
