Porta will feel a big attraction for the drawing and the human body since very young. In 1962, with 16 years, knows the gallery René Metras and this interests for the young Porta that presents how an artist popular. In this sense, René was a "artistic father" for Porta owed to his recolzament to the starts of his career.
In 1964, shares his first study with Jordi Galí and Silvia Gubern where organise small exhibitions together with Ángel Jové and Antoni Llena.
